Ultrasonic Cavitation is a non-invasive fat reduction treatment that uses ultrasound technology to slim and contour the body. It is fast becoming the preferred option for anyone who does not wish to undergo extreme procedures such as liposuction surgery. Treatments are fast, painless, and there’s no downtime.
How does Ultrasonic Cavitation reduce fat?
An ultrasonic handpiece targets specific body areas with low-frequency ultrasound waves. The vibrations produce tiny bubbles within the fat cells, disturbing the outer membrane, causing the collection of fat to be expelled into the surrounding area. These fatty acids are then processed and eliminated by the body’s lymphatic system.
Who can have a Fat Cavitation treatment?
Ultrasonic Cavitation is suitable for healthy people close to their ideal shape, looking to lose that last bit of stubborn fat. Common treatment areas include the abdomen, buttocks, upper arms, and thighs.
The ideal candidate for Ultrasonic Cavitation:
- is in good overall health
- doesn’t smoke
- has realistic expectations
- is already close to their goal weight
What to expect during an Ultrasonic Cavitation session?
During the treatment, ultrasound gel is applied to the treatment area. A handheld device is moved slowly over the target area. Treatments typically take between 20-30 minutes per area.
Most people find the Fat Cavitation treatment to be quite comfortable. You may feel a warm sensation during the procedure and hear a buzzing sound, which occurs due to sound waves dispersing in the body.
How often should you do Fat Cavitation?
While many people will see results immediately after their first treatment, we recommend 6-10 treatments for optimal results. The body requires three days to properly eliminate the fat and toxins after the treatment, so treatments should have at least three days rest between them.
Can you lose weight with Ultrasonic Cavitation?
Fat Cavitation reduces the fat thickness in the limited area that is treated rather than producing overall weight loss. It is designed to target small areas of fat and help sculpt the body. Ultrasonic Cavitation is not a treatment for people who are trying to lose a lot of weight.
Is the fat reduction permanent?
Ultrasonic Cavitation causes fat cells to release their contents and shrink. It does not permanently destroy the fat cells, which means that the cells are still capable of storing fat again in the future. Long-term results are achievable as long as you maintain a healthy diet and exercise.
How soon will you see results?
Most people will see a noticeable reduction in their measurements after the very first treatment! The fat removal process continues for up to 3 days after each treatment, so it isn’t unusual to see a further reduction a day or two after your initial treatment.
What if I don’t see results straight away?
It is important to remember that everyone is different, and your body will work according to your unique metabolism. You will see a reduction during a course of treatments, which is why we recommend a course of 6 or more sessions to get great results.
What can I do at home to help with treatment?
Drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol after your treatment. A minimum of 20 minutes of elevated heart rate cardio exercise is recommended immediately after the treatment and for three days following. Following this advice will ensure the stored energy released by the cavitation process will be burnt off and not reabsorbed.
